What if you took the controls of an Internet exchange point?

Discover SimIXP, our mini-game to explore interactively what it takes to manage and grow an IXP.

Your mission: develop your platform, attract customers, optimise interconnections… and find the right balance to grow your ecosystem.

This game simplifies and caricatures reality: it is above all a teaching tool to illustrate complex mechanisms.

In the real world, an IXP’s performance rests on several levers:

  • the richness of the ecosystem (networks, content, operators);
  • the robustness of the platform;
  • its commitment to serving a better Internet.

At France-IX, we work every day to foster a more efficient, resilient and interconnected Internet.

So, can you grow your IXP?
