As part of the ongoing modernisation of our network, we have enabled three new technologies: Segment Routing (SR, article in French), Ethernet VPN (EVPN) and Route Reflectors (RR).

Our objectives were clear:

  • modernise our network infrastructure;
  • gain reliability and operational flexibility;
  • pave the way for new features and new services.

In practice, what are the benefits?

  • SR: better traffic control and a simpler technical stack;
  • EVPN: more flexibility for peering services and new technical features;
  • RR: a more scalable and optimised BGP architecture.

In short, these technological changes bring:

  • greater transparency for our customers;
  • a better structure for our operations.

The result: a more robust, more scalable platform, ready for the years ahead!
