More than 700 registered professionals are expected. NANOG is where the Internet is built. And on June 2nd in Seattle, France-IX will be there.
NANOG 97 is the global gathering for network engineers and operators. The North American Network Operators’ Group (NANOG) is dedicated to the ongoing promotion of an open, secure, and robust Internet, by inspiring, educating, and empowering our community to meet the ever-evolving demands of a global network.
My mission? To represent the French peering market and meet future France-IX customers.
This will notably be the case at the Peering Coordination Forum, the heart of NANOG’s operational networking. It’s the place where operators meet, negotiate, and build the interconnections that keep the Internet running.
France-IX will have its own table there. If you’re looking for an entry point into the French peering market, or even to strengthen the Internet ecosystem, that’s where it’s happening 😉
This year, in addition to taking the pulse of the global internet, I’m coming back with something new.
For the first time, I will be a NANOG Ambassador.
A role I was happy to take on: being an accessible resource for attendees throughout the event for answering questions, facilitating connections, and welcoming newcomers.
More than 150 professionals will be attending for the very first time, which means 150 professionals discovering this ecosystem. Helping them find their footing also means contributing to the growth of the community.
This is where we meet them, exchange ideas to better understand their needs, and get a sense of where the market is heading.
So if you operate a network and the Internet and its ecosystem interest you? This is exactly the kind of conversation I’m looking for in Seattle. Find the France-IX table at the Peering Forum, or reach out by DM if you’d like to discuss beforehand.
