Access the entire French peering ecosystem from a single point of presence. That’s exactly what Multipass makes possible.
National peering is powerful. But traditionally, it means connecting locally in every city where you want to be present.
Multipass changes that equation. It allows access to all routes available across every France-IX point of presence (Paris, Lyon, Marseille and other cities in the network) from a single port.
France-IX takes care of collecting routes from peers in remote cities and announcing them via the service. You manage a standard eBGP session, IPv4 and IPv6.
This way, the content caches of major players (Google, Microsoft, Netflix, Apple and others) are reachable wherever they are available.
Interconnections qualified through programs such as Google VPP are as well.
All of this with a redundant service, backed by multiple France-IX aggregation routers for a robust and resilient infrastructure.
The French have already made the move and are happy to use it, so my international friends, it’s your turn!
