March 2021: I was entrusted with the role of Sales Manager. September 2024: I became Sales Director with a seat on the Executive Committee.

In between? A lot of learning and one certainty earned in the field: you don’t become a manager overnight.

I was lucky enough to be coached by Claire Basso (Maison Ugoki) for over 6 months. A deep, foundational work on my posture, my instincts, my way of leading. Understanding what is expected of you at each stage is far from obvious and having someone to help you decode it changes everything. Thank you 🙏

But if I am the manager I am today, it is also and above all thanks to my sales team. Let me introduce them:

  • Nicolas Guy-Grand: we’ve known each other for 22 years. We were colleagues, even sometimes a duo, at several other companies before finding ourselves at France-IX. A collaboration built over time, grounded in mutual respect and trust. He is now responsible for French & international key accounts and business development in France.
  • Simon Thomas: in keeping with relationships built for the long term and in good spirits, Simon joined us 7 years ago (but has been in my team for 5). He handles French clients and, more recently, European business development. His feedback after a few months? A dynamic and responsive market, with prospects easily open to discuss their peering expectations. Seeing someone thrive on new ground is one of the greatest rewards.
  • Kevin Plantier: he’s the newest addition, having joined us 9 months ago. I think he appreciates our balance between genuine laughs and a serious framework. At France-IX, he is responsible for the French client portfolio, and in particular for growing our reseller network both internationally and in France, one of our key focus areas for 2026.

Our goal is to create an environment where everyone can give their best, without backstabbing, in good spirits and with a true collective mindset.

An atmosphere you can feel and a pride in this team that gives everything, which I wouldn’t trade for anything in the world. 🧡
