Did you know you can become a France-IX reseller? If you fit one of these profiles, this might interest you.
Becoming a reseller is easier than you might think.
In our view, a reseller is someone who already has clients with connectivity needs in France and sees peering as a natural way to enhance what they’re already doing.
So you don’t need to be an incumbent carrier or necessarily have a large infrastructure.
For a consulting firm responding to RFPs, latency, data flow security and data sovereignty matter.
Including France-IX in your offering reassures clients because their data stays in France, with traffic passing through a French exchange point.
As for carriers (particularly IP operators), their business is to transport their customers’ traffic. Some of these customers need to land in France and bring their data back there. Adding peering to your portfolio meets this need without having to rebuild everything from scratch, it’s a logical evolution of your offering.
And then there are the international players, those operating outside France but with traffic to route into the country. For them, becoming a reseller is the most direct path to an online presence in France.
What all these profiles have in common is one question: do you have clients whose data flows are intended to pass through France? If so, it’s worth having this conversation.
We don’t yet know everyone who might fall into this category. That’s actually why we’re publishing this post: if this sounds like you or if you’re wondering, Kevin Plantier is the person to contact.
