France-IX’s greatest strength is its agility. An underestimated competitive advantage, if you ask me.
Being an SME, a small infrastructure, gives us a certain responsiveness: when we make a decision, we can move fast.
By comparison, a large operator will take one to two years on average to launch a new service. They owe this inertia to their size and their processes.
Whereas we need only a few months between the decision to go ahead and the launch.
A reality made possible by an organisation designed to move fast without sacrificing rigour.
On one side, there is the human aspect, with a cross-functional way of working.
We bring the finance, marketing, legal, sales and technical teams around the same table. The result: everyone has the same level of information and has their own roadmap. This turns these meetings into a genuine decision-making body, rather than confining them to reporting.
On the other side, there is the technical aspect.
For the past year and a half, we have been automating our entire value chain. And whenever we create a new service, automation is built in from the design stage.
As a result, we mobilise fewer resources, deliver faster and keep costs under control.
Today, there are around thirty of us at France-IX, and this agility helps us serve our diversification goal.
