Partnership with RIPE Atlas

France-IX has become a sponsor of RIPE NCC Atlas programme and offers 8 internet monitoring probes.

Until now Atlas has delivered 2700 active probes worldwide. However Africa remains almost deprived of them. This is why France-IX decided to send in priority the probes to networks operating on the African continent. To receive a probe, a form has to be filled in before 30th of April, 2013.

Thanks to this largest Internet measurement network ever made, RIPE Atlas is able to provide an unprecedented understanding of the state of the Internet in real time.
