AFPIF 2016

30th of August to 1st of September 2016

The 7th African Peering and Interconnection Forum (AFPIF) took place from the 30th of August to the 1st of September 2016 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Organized by the Internet Society, the 3-day event seeks to foster cross-border interconnection opportunities by ensuring that key players -- infrastructure providers, Internet service providers (ISPs), Internet Exchange Points (IXPs), international financial institutions, and policy-makers and regulators are present at the event.

France-IX has brought its support to the event since several years.
