The job

France-IX is looking for an experienced Marketing and Communication Specialist to support its Marketing and Communication efforts with French and international clients.

Based in Paris, your role is to implement the actions of the Marketing plan at the corporate level (presentations, brochures, newsletter, website, blog, social networks, relations with press agency), at the customer level (emailing, case studies, webinars) and during conferences and events where France-IX participates or organizes (planning, booking, sponsoring, support of the sales agenda). You are in charge of the operational organization of the events dedicated to France-IX community (booking, budget, logistics, registration, speaker coordination). Finally, you provide the link between external and internal communication.

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, you are the gatekeeper of the company brand and its messages towards members, prospects, business partners, media and institutional partners. To achieve your mission, you work closely with different partners (press agency, contractors…) and as team within the Sales and Marketing department and the other departments of the company (executive management and technical).

Your daily life is organized around the following missions:

• Create and/or update company information, its services and sales pitches on all supports (general presentation, documentation, website);
• Writing and editing the company's external communication on all supports (press releases, monthly newsletter, social networks);
• Support the marketing of the company’s new services;
• Produce the annual report (online);
• Assist promotional campaigns and keep up-to-date Marketing databases;
• Supervise the management of events, gather feedback of field teams in the CRM, be the project manager for the events organized by France-IX (annual general meeting and smaller customer events);
• Maintain competitive intelligence on Marketing & Communication topics;
• Communicate internally the company news.

France-IX is a young company of 7 years specialized in B2B network interconnection services for telecom operators, digital content providers and all major Internet users in France. Thanks to its rapid growth, the company now has more than 340 customers, 60% in France and 40% internationally.

You integrate a young and dynamic company of less than 20 people. You are in direct contact with clients and each person on the team. You integrate the Sales and Marketing team which defines the messages, manages the customer relationship and carries the sales objectives. You are a commercial development player with a direct impact on the acquisition and retention of our clients.

The position is an indefinite term contract in a dynamic and innovative sector. The position is full-time to be filled as soon as possible in Paris 1st district, in the center of Paris with limited trips outside Paris. Compensation is based on profile, experience and level of expertise.

Your profile

• You have a diploma of higher education or a business school, a school of communication, a university degree in communication and/or marketing;
• You have at least 5 years of experience in Marketing / Communication, ideally within a B2B or technological services company;
• You have strong writing skills, good knowledge in digital marketing (website, social networks, blog) and in press relations;
• You have a strong team spirit and can work with very different profiles;
• You have been able to demonstrate during your career a marketing understanding with a constant concern for analysis, synthesis and creativity;
• Organization, thoroughness, an eye for details, a strong passion in your field and respect for others define your personality;
• Office software has no secret for you (presentation, spreadsheet, word processing) and you are comfortable with CRM tools and campaign automation (mailchimp ...);
• Your level of French is excellent both in written and spoken and you can write and speak English at business level.
